So here is what I have so far:

Eric
Tim
Rmalo
Phil
Jake
Dave (BC)
Brian
Tom
Dave (WA)
Me

That's 10 - we're done. :)

Yeah - no idea on trailer friendly - but yes considering RV spots could work - from what I can tell all of the campsites (including RV) are north of the day use sites. I should probably just run up there and scope it out. That would be really cool though if you could make it!

I had actually thought of sending PM's to Oregon folks - but kind of came down on the "herding cats" side of the equation - especially if it came down to the location no longer working for the number of people who might show up. My thinking was if we can get together and meet up - who knows what this could grow into? An annual Pacific Northwest 968 event that has a set weekend? That would be great. I think the overnight at this type of location would be a lot of fun too (I would be into that if it wasn't for balancing kids and such this summer).

Now - with all that said - this is certainly not excluding anyone - and I know my PM's probably didn't even reach everyone even in BC and WA - if any other northwesterners want to take part - chime in and we should all "get the word out" as we can. The more the merrier and we'll figure it out.

And by the way - the dwarf thing -

Hmmmm... Seems like a good idea but it's the same day as a PCA/CWR autocross. Tough call. It's in my calendar, so we'll see how it goes.

Phil G.
Radar detectors are legal in Washington State, you might be thinking of Washington D.C. In any event the WSP has no sense of humor.

It seemed like it was going to be forever - and now only a week away. 10 day forecast shows it should be partly sunny and around 70 (whew).

With a week to go wondering if we should reconfirm attendees - and figure out any collective planning for food, treats, and general whatnot.

Looking forward to it!~

I am still in.
Darlene and I plan to go down on Saturday afternoon, stay in a B&B in the area and be at Larabee Park around 11:30.
Let us know what to bring.

Sent messages to everyone to have them check in. Brian, Jake and myself are confirmed. Looks like Tom won't be able to make it.

We'll probably still have plenty of room - so still get the word out. Maybe there's someone out there with a 9?? who'd like to check out a real porsche or something.

Latest weather forcast is mid-70's and sunny - so should be a beautiful day!

Cool - interested to check out what you've done with the body.

Okay - Tom and Eric are out...Phil, Brian, Jake and Chris are in. Tim, RMalo, and two Daves to go.

Since us cab guys are challenged with space I was thinking the coupes would have to bring everything! Seriously - if we're making a bit of a picnic out of it too (we can do bring your own muchies too - I am fine either way) I would suggest normal picnic fair - like beer and whatever else goes with beer. Such as:

Beer.
Non beer.
Hamburger / hot dogs.
Buns.
Various condiments.
Charcoal.
Grilling utensils (supposedly a grill there).
Picnic type salads.
Chips.

And beer.

If we go the picnic route once we get a final count we can break things down as to who brings what.

I'll start
I'm in for a bag of charcoal, 2 dozen hot dogs, 2 dozen buns.
Should we bring our own beer?

Someone's hungry.

Depending on how many more confirms we get we might be fine with lowering the numbers - but that's a good start. I'll call your buns and raise you the same amount of burgers and burger buns. I'll also bring the grilling utensils (wire brush, flipper, tongs, etc). So:

x Hamburger / hot dogs.
x Buns.
x Charcoal.
x Grilling utensils (supposedly a grill there).

And so:

Beer.
Non beer.
Various condiments.
Picnic type salads.
Chips.

On the beers maybe everyone bring a six pack and we just end up with an open bar? I know there's probably a couple of Canadian varieties I would love to try - I remember a million years ago now being in a pub at Horseshoe Bay and they had something there - oh my was it tasty.

We can bring (2) variety of salads (size will depend on group size), disposable plates and forks, and some beer.
All items will be bought in the USA because I do not want to cross the border with it, plus we need to support their economy where possible!

Unfortunately you'll be down a Dave. I was going to make it but since then the removal of the flooring in my house took precedence. I have to finish ripping out another 600 sq ft of carpet/underlay and staples (yea) and finish the painful task of laying hardwood. I really wanted to show off the ol' Supercharger and let you guys have a spin but that might have to wait, sorry :(

NOT happy to hear that Dave... :(
I feel for you with regards to the "honey do" item... I am SURE you did not start the idea of having the flooring changed. ;)

Question: is anyone else taking a "female companion" along? My wife will be happy to hear of at least one "Yes"... ;)
