Man, I wish the roads up here in BC were better... and people actually knew how to drive, then I wouldn't mind taking my car up to higher speeds more often. For anyone who knows the Pacific northwest (and vancouver), so far I've done 200kph on the #7 highway going towards Hope, past Harrison. It's a bit bumpy, but it's flat, empty, and straight-ish. I've also done 160 on the new two lane section on the sea-to-sky. Talk about using all the available road! Concrete barier on one side, jagged cliff on the other. Though I have to agree with Josephsc, the fear of getting pulled over for doing 100+ over the speed limit kind of kills the excitment of fast driving on public roads. Not so much getting caught by radar, but by ghost cars and the like. Though I usually let'er rip between groups of cars anyways

One of these days I'm gonna get some incar video of some of this stuff. I just need to figure out how / where to mount a camera.

Renalicious - radar detectors are legal in BC?

I might be up there in a few months in the PCar.

You guys re high top speed - 130 mph is exciting fast for me, straight line, it works!

Sweet! Coming up here for any events? Or just to check the place out? :) I'm planning on attending a DE up in Mission on June 19th.
I wonder who else is up in this area, as I'd love to attend some 968 meet up here (or Washington). Most of the meets I hear about take place in the states, usually east coast too, doh.

As for radar detectors, I'm not too sure, never looked into it to be honest (never had a car that needed one lol).
