Looked curiously at an American website for superchargers and noted that the stock BHP at the engine was only about 210ish BHP with only 183BHP at the wheels before the upgrade I might add! Is that standard for US cars? I know your emmission controls are very strict (but obviously ineffective in the greater Los Angeles area, chortle), but really a drop of about 26BHP versus European cars? That's a bit steep! Can someone please quote standard US 968 power spec please as I'm curious. Ta.

nope - ROW measures DIN and US measures SAE
but your numbers are wonky - i have no idea where they come from - see the Home Page here for specs
ROW is 240hp DIN
US is 236hp SAE

flash is correct, there is a diff standard of measure for euro & us spec cars. To name another example, E39 M5's are rated at 400HP DIN & 394HP SAE.

yup - it's just the way it's measured - the engines are the same on the 968
