Is my translation is accurate?

The type of motor put in the coupés are better then the cabriolets & match the CS = M44/43 - Turbo S = M44/60
The type of Chassis put in the coupés are stiffer then the cabriolets & match the CS = G44/00 - Turbo S = G44/01
Coupes are better stronger and faster. The fastest coupes were produced in 1994 (96PS896061-63).
RoW = assembled from spare parts (hors Amérique du Nord)

I can't speak to the Row figures but the USA/Canada figures are wrong. They are the same incorrect numbers you see in Morgan's book.

technically they aren't wrong, they just also show the in house numbers - there is a difference between production numbers and sales numbers - by the way, some of those chassis numbers have shown up, they just weren't sold as complete cars

That list has some VINs that are missing (were produced, were sold) as well as many VINs that were never produced (sold).

Porsche reserved the first 60 or something VIN each year...

Translation is :

Engine type for Coupé's, Cab's & CS = M44/43 - Engine type for Turbo S = M44/60
Gearbox type for Coupé's, Cab's & CS = G44/00 - Gearbox type for Turbo S = G44/01
Only 3 Turbo S produced in 1994
RoW = Rest of World (outside North America)

Regards

"Porsche reserved the first 60 or something VIN each year..."

Exactly! And the list has a few missing as well.

yup - they made a bunch of the first 60, but used them mostly for in house testing and such - some ended up on race tracks later on (we've seen a couple over the years), but were not ever sold as cars

so, the production numbers are likely fairly accurate - they just aren't sales numbers - two entirely different things though
