Add to that a midterm on tuesday, work tuesday night and all day Wednesday, and school most of thursday. That leaves me basically just Friday to wash & wax as well as figure out an AC solution and implement. Well I know I won't be bored this week.

Lord Galva was looking for a ride down, I'm willing to give him a lift if he still wants to go, but it might make more sense for him to catch a ride with someone coming from Sacramento or Contra Costa Co. I live in Alameda. So, to ride with me he'll have to make his way to Oakland or Alameda. I'll need to leave Alameda by 7:30 to make the Gilroy outlets by 8:30.
I'm still in Europe, but will be returning next week. I will also be returning to a mountain of work.

I haven't made this trip before. Does the NorCal contingent go down and back in one day or do some of you stay over and come back on Sunday? I'm thinking I might spend the night and check out a winery or two on Sunday before returning.
I don't recall anyone from the NorCal group having stayed over in past events, it's a fairly easy back and forth ( or rather forth and back

And, I just remembered the run isn't THIS weekend, it's NEXT weekend, so I do have plenty of time. Hopefully my car will look much, much more respectable than last time. Last time my car was the ugly duckling, but it was alright, I won the "award" for most stuffed car.

don't put too much pressure on yourself to clean and preen - it's more important that you just make it

I had a blast at the last fun run event around the Vacaville area, and met folks from this forum for the first time. Flash was a blast to meet.
Robt in San Mateo (just 7 miles south of SFO)

Count me in! Hope that there will no earthquake there. The clock tower got damaged from the last quake.

Robt, welcome and I hope to see you there!
Bob - no pressure, I just need to represent red. It was the most abundantly produced 968 color and nobody in CA has one but me. I won't break my back detailing it but I'll at least wash it this time.
You gotta see my new wheels. T3h H0tneSS.

I can give you the forecast for Paso Robles for every day between now and November: sunshine with lows of 70 and highs of 100. Slight chance of clouds.

That is weird that the 968's in CA seem to be only Black or one of the blues. Only the occasional green or white show up on craigs.

Option A: I can hitch a ride from one of ya
Option B: Drive the s***ty ass van my dad gave me for now
Either way where are we all (bayarea guys) going to meet before departing?
If I end up not being able to go I'll try to pass on Arash's umbrella and tailight to one of ya so he can get them.

to be honest, i have not had a lot of time to put this together this year - i am only now getting around to emails and such
to add to that, i just found out that the owner took off for 2 weeks, and while we would be in the hands of a manager, who is completely capable, it would not be the same
i am still more than willing to do this, but if there aren't enough people to justify it, perhaps it would be best to push this back until we can really get it together
head count?

ditto.
ok, who's absolutely, positively, no last minute excuses
the absence of Tobin James owners probably does put a bit of a damper on the exclusivity of our VIP touring enjoyment, but we'll be perfectly fine even without that component provided we get a decent showing from both regions of this fine state to meet... after all, that's the main purpose so if this weekend looks very "light" on combined attendence, postponing the event for a few weeks may not be a bad idea.

Hot weather doesn't bother me much, so if we reschedule for June, I'm OK with that or we could do it in the fall sometime, say October when the weather is cooler.

My dad pulled out because its "MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND"
Duh. I forgot. They are going to Carmel so I'm stuck at home.
June could be good.
Right now i'm out.
