Selling my mistress. It has been a wonderful love affair for 4 years, but sadly, its time to focus elswehere. She looks as good as the day I received her, and has been handled gently and with plenty of TLC (no DE or tracking just a gentle weekend affair on windy roads). She has been extremely dependable and has never stood me up for a date.

Mechanically and cosmetically in great condition. The belts (including timing and balance shaft replaced in '02), and major mechanicals were recently inspected and all in good shape. The car is always garaged kept and under a cover. It is driven about 2-3 times a month when the weather is nice. Oil changed religiously. Hand waxed by yours truly, and always babied.

Vital stats:
'94 Cab, Guards red exterior, saddle interior, black porsche logo carpets
exterior in excellent condition
interior in very good to excellent condition (some typical bolster wear on drivers seats...no rips or tears), carpets and dash excellent
74000 miles, engine bay exceptionally clean
17" Cup rims with factory painted center caps
Convertible top is in excellent condition
Rootwood shifter
Power driver and passenger seats
Alpine CD changer added to factory Porsche AM/FM Cassette
Tires in very good shap, approx 70%+ tread remaining
Ding free and no history of accidents
Car cover and bra go with the car
9xauto Cupholder (for the coffee drinkers)

Asking $17,500 obo-

-the only thing needed on the exterior is a respray of the front nose, nose looks great from 5 feet (a local high end body shop quoted me $500 to remove the nose, sand, buff, and respray back to original)

-also purchased a spare that is made for the car but stays fully inflated and still fits neatly in the trunk.

Please email me if you would like any high resolution pics emailed to you.

Car is located in Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne area)

Really nice cab, and my favorite color combo for the cab. I wish you luck on getting her to a good home. I think you might be a tad high after seeing how some other cabs have gone recently.

I realized I posted in the wrong area. Any chance one of the Admins could move this to the '968 Cars for Sale" section. Thanks

given the condition, and all the extras, i think it is actually a bit low - that is a rare interior combo, and adds a premium - it shouldn't be a problem selling it at this time of year

I wasn't implying the car wasn't worth it, it is my favorite cab color, and my SVX was red over tan, but I looked back at 10 cabs that have sold recently, including the triple black that just went on here, and figured out an average of just over $16,000. Now this is just an average and on a car this rare, there can never be a true market average, but I am no where near the level of knowledge flash has in this arena. Just my $.02

Thanks for the feedback. Asking and selling price are rarely the same, and while I think my baby is worth every penny, I am listening to all offers.

I received a few emails regarding posting some high resolution pics. Below are some additonal shots I took this afternoon. Please email me if there is any additional shots needed.

If server space becomes an issue, I may need to remove the pics, but will gladly fill up anyones email with as many shots as requested.

Asking price is now $17,500. I have adjusted based on doing a lot of searches for other Cabs for sale, and the fact that there is an 840 for sale locally that I would love to move into the garage.

If I don't sell, maybe it's time to coordinate a local gathering for the Charlotte and surrounding area enthusiasts. I'll offer up my house and grill. Better yet, I'll start a new thread for this.

Chris, thanks for sharing the pictures of your lovely Cab. First time I have ever seen the Rootwood shifter, I love it! Where did it come from? Are they still available? Good luck with your sale, Bob Blackwell.

I'm pretty sure this was an option from the factory. I'll check the option codes, but I recall one of the listed option codes as being for 'Rootwood'. I'm not sure if they are available any more or at least I've never seen one as part of an options catalogue.

Jeff, Just sent you a PM.

Thanks
Chris
