Karma, or, may be just driving cars in colors that do not attract much attention ? my 944s were silver and another in sand, the 968 is blue.. bet you if I paint it red I'll get pulled over
anybody out there with a guards red 968 that can validate or dismiss that commonly held theory ?
not only that, 20 years+ with a Euro front license plate and I was stopped only once for that

i actually used that theroy to my advantage for quite a while - my mg was so red and so loud, and i was always driving like a lunatic, that my guess is the cops figured i was either nuts and/or dangerous, or i was so squeaky clean it was rather pointless to bug me
little known fact - yellow is actually the color most readily and easily seen by the human eye - not red

I've never been pulled over in my 968. In my prior 944 life, I was pulled over in my Guards Red coupe once, and I think it did have something to do with the color. I was in the middle of 4-5 lanes of traffic, moving the same speed as everyone else, and the cop picked me out.

it's funny - in my bright red very loud and crazy fast mgb, no tickets - in my sedate, quiet, non-descript ice blue ragtop E30 i got 3 in a year
