I have read the build numbers by year and body style. I was wondering if there is a more detailed source. RENNSPEED's search for a specific car got me wondering.
For example, how many 1995, cab, 6 speeds in Polar Silver with black int and top were made?
I was watching the Barret Jackson Auctions and they seem to have this info for many of the cars. Do we? Did Porsche keep public records on exactly what they made, and if so, can we get our hands on them?

Yep, that would be interesting to find out. From what I've seen my Aventurine Green car is fairly rare. There's only a few on both forums and no others that I know of in So. Calif.
Perhaps the PCA would have access to that info...? Although that may only include members cars[?].

Particularly since, if you really have an Adventurine Green car, it's VERY rare - in fact, the only one. What you have, though, is an Aventurine Green car. (I only know because there was a note about this in another thread. Google Aventurine and you'll know much more about the basis for your color.)

Adventurine or Aventurine it's still rare.... no matter the spelling I figured most would get the point...

Does anyone know what kind of changes were made between the 93 to 95 MY cars? I mean body panel changes or significant cosmetic changes. Seems that I saw somewhere where there were some sort of changes made.

I guess that I have a very rare car then. I did get another compliement yesterday at the Post Office, as I was walking to my car a guy told me "nice car". When you hear that it really makes you proud to have a 968. So, what's the tally on Adventurine Green 986s? Can't wait for the Turbo conversion, then I would probably have the only one.

968 GUY - there is a list of changes - it's here somewhere, but i can't remember where - i am currently putting together the changes from early 92 to late 92 as well as the 94 to 94.5 changes, complete with pictures, and will post them in the Buyer's Guide (where this thread now lives), as well as the Library

Cosimo, there is a recent addition to the 968forum here in Albuquerque who also has an Aventurine Green 968 Coupe. Kurt Dillion is his name and his "handle" on the forum is durtkillion. Both of your cars look beautiful! Bob Blackwell.

Cosimo,
I'm still working on the coupe registry. I'll have the answer to your question in about two months but what I can tell you is that K6 Aventurine green was the 4th most popular color on 968 coupes in 1995 with 26 produced out of 259. Once I have the 94s completed I can give you the full production number.
