If anyone is interested in entering their car, Jim's contact information is at the bottom of this post. The 2015 application is attached.
------
Bob-I have attached the application from last year. Please review. It will give you an idea of the cars that will be reviewed and accepted. While originality is a very important aspect of the Concours, modifications, done tastefully, will not hurt the possible acceptance. If we were able to get 6-8 top quality 968’s, a separate Class would be added. 2-4 968’s would be wonderful. The Concours is for charity and a minimum entry fee is $250.00. The entrants cars will certainly receive great notoriety. Also, on the Friday of Car Week is the Werks Reunion in Carmel by the Sea. This will be the 3rd year. In 2016 there were 700 Porsches! A great event that would top off the week for those participating in the Concours on the Avenue. Please let me know if you have further questions.
Cheer,
Jim

Subject: Information
Bob-I saw the post for your 968 Gathering next July. Are you familiar with the Concours on the Avenue in Carmel CA. held the Tuesday of Pebble Beach Car Week? The Concours is rated as one of the top 10 Concours in the country. In 2016, the Concours will have a Class of what I call the “Forgotten Porsche’s”, 924/928/944/968. I am helping secure cars for this invitation only charity event. I would very much appreciate it if you would be so kind as to possibly turn me on to Concours quality 968’s that may be interested in applying for acceptance by the selection committee. If you have questions and/or would like more information, please call or email me at your convenience. I live in Scottsdale, AZ. Can you help?
