Congratulations Trevor on your win at the Parade. GREAT RUN. The rematch will be in 2017 at a place & time to be determined.

Hey Tom, nice seeing you again and I hope you make the trip back home to WA safely. You had me a bit worried showing up to Marina with your 968 on Hoosiers. The other black 968 was also on DOT-R and so was the red 944 Turbo that got 3rd at Parade in SLC 2 years ago. Do you know the driver of the red 944 S2 who kicked ass in the afternoon? He was saying that the only reason he didn't run production class with us was because of a mass airflow meter or we'd both have gotten whooped! Apparently he's trying to sell that car but have no idea why given the speed, fun and uniqueness...
For anyone who didn't attend Parade this year, you didn't miss much in terms of the banquets or food but the Concours had some awesome cars like 993 RS and 993 GT2 along with the typical Canepa collection [935, 959, 917, 962, etc]. The autocross is usually special and this year didn't disappoint...a local driver piloting GT3 RS set one scorcher of a time in the 2nd to last group with the modified cars going last and driven by some star local talent who had been preparing since last year sometime. On the very last set of runs a 914 race car got past the GT3 RS by 0.15 seconds only to be overtaken by a Cayman S packing 3.8 X51 engine, lightweight panels and Avon slicks by 0.06 seconds! It was ESPN worthy stuff...
Anyway, here's my lap and hope to see everyone at a future event...Tom, I have something special planned for 2017

That would be Mike Leuty, national level (SCCA) a/xer. The car is a 944 S2 with the M030 package. Somebody looking for a turn key competitive track toy or a/x car would be hard pressed to find a better set up car. You're right we would have wound up a notch down if he had made a few changes and run the "P" class. I contracted a case of rectal/cranial inversion and dnf 'd my last run but doubt that I could have caught you. The 944 turbo won it's class in the Concour and did very well considering the course configuration. Again great run.

Rap, I autocross with 245/275 Dunlop Z2 this season. My 968 has clubsport seats, spare + tools removed, custom exhaust and I remove the sunroof so it weighs 2900 pounds. KW V3 suspension, solid sway bar bushings, lots of camber and Wavetrac LSD.
