yeah - i've been watching that one. unfortunately it will be a pain to get it legalized for driving in the US. a number of things will have to be changed not the least of which is ride height (to meet the headlight and tail light height minimums)

Guys,
That's my old CS. It's been discussed at length over on RL, it just finished a run on eBay where it failed to meet reserve in epic fashion:
I'm happy to answer any questions, but as flash says, it's very difficult to get US legal. Flash, actually, the head and tail lights are a non issue, they are the same DOT coded units as on our US cars. It's the bumperettes, speedo, and all the disassembly/photo/reassembly that costs money and time.
Cheers
Mikey

Someone in Canada should buy it, since I have seen a registered CS in Vancouver.

i was not referring to the lights themselves as a problem. the US has a minimum height to center, and the ROW ride height does not meet that requirement. the car would have to be raised to meet import law.

No. The one I saw is a Speed Yellow CS.

Talked to the owner at Rennsport in Monterey a few years ago. Thought he said he lived in Langley. Definitely in the Vancouver area. Are you going to Whistler Weekend in August?
