Car has been owned by my father in law for the last 4 years. He purchased so we could spend some time together on weekends learning to drive on the track. We have used it very lightly in ~8 DE events at VIR over that time period. Car has been absolutely great, but is being sold due to lack of use, and would rather put the funds towards other interests.

Purchased for $34k+ from Pheonix Performance out of PA in '07, and have used on 'owner days' at VIR since. Car has been regularly maintained and garaged on-site at VIR. As stated, the car has had limited use since we purchased, and given our skill levels, the car has not been pushed to near capacity in the time we have been running it. It is super fast and has won several events when it was driven by the prior owner at Pheonix Performance.

Car is a 1999 C5 - professionally prepped track car. Car was fitted with a new crate engine in '03, then tuned and modified to get 425HP at the crank . Engine was gone through again by Pheonix Peformance before it was purchased in '07. Car runs on 100 octane, has full roll cage and is fully set up for SCCA club racing. Z06 suspension upgrades. Chasis has less than 20k miles and newer crate engine has less than 2K. Car is dedicated track car was specifically purchased and modified with SCCA racing in mind.

Car is garaged kept at VIR in Virginia. We purchased it in '07 with the idea that it would be fun to take out for DE events and learn a bit about the sport. We had it on the track once or twice a year since purchase which has translated to about 200-300 miles max....yes it has been very underused, which is why we're thinking someone else can probably get better use and take full advantage of the horsepower and setup.

The car has been a pure track car since 2003, and I have the SCCA Club Racing logbook documenting use.
some of the specs are below:
'99 C5 Fixed Roof Coupe

Mechanically and cosmetically in excellent condition. Last track in spection was Oct '10.
Car is garaged on site at VIR.

ASKING $20K, which I believe is a very fair price given the setup, original price, usage, and condition of the car.
