We've talked about this car before but it is still available. This Cab is for sale on the west coast. The owner wants $14K for it. 60K and up to date on maintenance. It is a very unique car, a very early production car with all the unique, early features (#23 of 2,008), one of two in the color combo, and a option code 740 exhibition car but I don't know the history. It is not for everyone but someone should grab it who would appreciate it.

And people thought gray door panels were hard to find...

Interior parts for that car would be next unobtanium to locate.

ol - definitely in the "eye of the beholder" - i hate red interiors of any shade - way too "pimp" for me - they remind me of the caddies cruising oakland - a fuzzy hat and a shiny cane and you'd be there - lol - a nearly pink one like this moves it across the bay, but still the same kind of prohibitive vibe

lol - but maybe if it was bedazzled???

not sure what porsche was thinking in using this as an advertising car - maybe it was "you can have any colors you want, no matter how obscure"

The interior is pretty cool but the exterior needs to be a different color like white or purple. Maybe the wife wants it... ohmy.gif

Agreed, and it looks like the sun hits that color as well. Notice the wheel. 19 cabs made with either full magenta or magenta/light gray interiors, up to 5 in the coupes.

"bummer that it's missing the "glove hand" engine plastic"

I think it is there, just cut off in that photo.

Believe it or not, there is a pink (rubystone red) and magenta cab out there somewhere (in the US). Now that would be something. No surprise, i like this cab. smile.gif

If I had the spare time and spare space, I would love to take the interior (and the nice convertible top) and move it to the Amethyst Violet car -- and then move the light grey interior from my parts car to this car. If I only had the time and space...

See Rhude's posted photo on the Interior Llighting thread - might go well in this cab rolleyes.gif

And we were debating the other day what a "chick car" may be.. this is fitting IMO, and because it's a 968, it's as classy as a chick car probably gets. ( ok, may be a classier example is that purple-ish Aston Volante " E " drove in Entourage. .. but this 968 is a close second )
