Wow,

http://cgi.ebay.com/...5fCarsQ5fTrucks

Big money and a fairly ordinary 968 (triple black) but it has the canadian package with heated seats and headlight washers and it also has limited slip.

I wish i had the cash

It also has the rear seats in it. Guessing the gauges are KMH.

got it

bummer - canadian car - it's in ottowa - would have to go through DOT i think to bring it in - probably rear seat delete, check engine light needs to be added, and all that

would really have to see service records on that one too - that isn't enough miles to be safe unless it's had a lot done to it already - there is such a thing as too few miles on these cars - i had to do the same thing to the white car - every belt, hose, and fluid had to be changed due purely to age

but, that being said, it sure would be nice to have - probably very clean - that's always a good thing

Fairly Ordinary you say? I say triple black espresso perfecto baby! wink.gif

I checked the VIN on CARFAX (still active from my kids recent travails, which reminds me I need to close out that post). Looked as advertised. 2 owners, low ODO readings, very few entries.

This comment is coming from a guy who drives a mint green cab. biggrin.gif As for the production stats they kinda of back me up, black cabs are the second most popular with 432 produced for the NA market or 21.5%, right behind red (442). As for triple black, it is the third most popular color combo (190 produced) out of the 185 color combos of 968 cabs sent to North America (1st behind red/black/cashmere-221 and 2nd, red/black/black-198).

This car is much rarer because it is one of 55 968 cabs made form the Canadian market but most important, probably the lowest mileage cab out there????

Sounds like allot of cash in updated maintenance on top of a high purchase price.

The best color combo bar none.

lol - i think i'd sell it now if i could break even as we stand - problem is that we dumped a bunch into it on upgrades as soon as we got it, and then bought the extended warranty for it (transferrable though)

don't get me wrong - the car is a fine thing to drive - it's just to bloody hot here, and i'm too old to keep cleaning the thing
