I think the power blackout in CA will sway people otherwise. I know mostly it was the driver-less cars that got stranded, but when you have to evac, and you can't leave until you charge your tesla,
it's a good endorsement for a gas or diesel vehicle.
If I ever have to evac my area, I will have to drive around all the dead ev's stuck that left Miami and got 300 miles and then ran out of charge in my area...
