So that was fun. Although, admittedly, I would have thought the same but for me I have Cab on the brain and tend to overlook Coupes.

It only seems there are a lot more coupes because most are still on the road ; it's a well known fact that coupes were built with special engines and other rare materials which ran out by the time cabs were built in the second half of each production year, so coupes last much longer . Come on, everyone knows that !! Look it up ;-) ;-). Now, where and how the hell do I bring up the emocons on this damn iPad , ?

I'm still shocked that a nearly even split of coupes and cabs were sold in the US, considering the significant price premium of the cabs.

Where is that poster Don had at Hershey one year that gave the worldwide breakdown. I keep one in my office. Course now I've got a cigar and a beer in my woman's cave as she works on the rocks.

Just because they are listed on autotrader.com doesn't necessarily mean they are all still for sale. I found my cab on autotrader.com - where it remained for several months after I had taken delivery. And Flash, in listing the variables to be considered in determining how often the top gets lowered on a cab, you left out one of the most important: if there is a woman in the passenger seat! Many's the time I wanted to put the top down, only to be vetoed by the cry "it will mess up my hair".

Or by a man with a comb-over, "hair" is also singular. :P

i had to deal with all of these issues

messed up hair - windscreen resolves that for her and age for me, and if it was really bad, a hat. worse than that, and time to get a new wife

too cold - heater and heated seats resolves that nicely - mmmmmmmmm.....toasty

too sunny - ever hear of a hat?

now, i have to admit that i have put the top up due to being too hot. here in socal it gets scorching hot with an intensity i've not found anywhere else in the country. when i lived in the bay area, it was a very different story, and i never had the problem. that's actually why i had the zip out rear window made though.

Flash:

Trying reason with a wife? Do you have a pdf of instructions explaining how to do that without winding up on the couch?
