Just a quick post to say that I have not died or otherwise met my demise. I simply haven't been driving my two 968 cars, have been very busy and seldom come here to check what's up. Still planning to return the 987 CS next May and drive the two 968s thereafter until they or I should die. The white car, after having a lot of work done to it last October, still works well although I did blow a small radiator "end cap hose" that I have been unable to find a replacement for. Plugged off for now. The blue cab has been driven one day this year and will not be out again until spring.
But still having fun and getting goofy whenever I can.

Nice, maybe you'll make a trip to PA this year and that will be a cause for celebration.

Well, one thing, the 968 did not ever blow a motor, even after 360,000 km. All the problems least year only started at about 340,000 km and were related to the head. Really just wearing-out issues that needed to be corrected. I might have gone a bit overboard but what the heck. The '08 Cayman S, on the other hand, blew a hole in the piston sleeve at 45,000 km. The engine was replaced under warranty. I can assure you that the engine was never abused in any way. So I will return it at the end of the lease. Confidence level is just too low.
My Cayenne now has 300,000 km and is still running strong.
My 968 cab still has only 70,000 km and works perfectly.
All good here in my stable for now.

Surprised to hear that. Glad it was under warranty. Cant imagine the frustration that would've ensued had a warranty not been in place.
I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!
