A very custom 951, it has ITB's with a carbon fiber intake, and I believe is bored to 3.4. It also has the alternator moved to the back running off the transmission.

The red 968 above has 993 headlights. Looks like a decent install.

Great to see the 951 from IMA. Ivan Arozla's "Blue Beast" is an awesome machine. I am biased as I am working as IMA Marketing Manager. Was unable to attend as I was on vacation in Italy. Did you see the other "Blue Beast" the 800 HP GTP?

Very interesting location for the alternator. That could be part of the solution for a Supercharger with AC.

I was thinking that same thing, just as long as you don't idle in traffic to much...

pretty much got that alternator/ac thing worked out already - just trying to find the time to build the prototype of the kit - all these other parts projects have been keeping me too busy to focus on it

Could probably modify the stock Alt. cooling duct to scope up air while driving.

The problem is you not moving the transmission isn't turning thus the alternator isn't spinning..

I love the LS2968 conversion and the headlights really add a lot to me. Anyone know how to get in touch with the owner? Would like to know more about this conversion. Bob Blackwell.

It was actually a shop that brought it, their cards are sitting on top of the intake manifold in that pic.

Flash sure has a keen eye. I stood in front of that car in person for 10 minutes before I noticed. The sticking up part does not bother me a all, I think the more vertical look without a gap gets rid of that 928 look and gives it a more 911 look. The only part that bothers me is that 993 lights are smoked or tinted and that really gives off a different look.

Mike said only one person at the reunion noticed the conversion---I think that must have been bandit...so I think that makes a statement on how well intergrated they are! My car is scheduled to be done in 2 weeks :P

I like them too, where are you having the work done? Care to share the price? Thanks, and good luck, Bob Blackwell.

German Performance, the owner of the car pictured is going to do the install. The bodywork will cost about $800. I suspect the whole thing with the lights will be under $1500. Kind of expensive, but I can't think of another exterior mod that will tastefully set my car appart, be functional and save weight.

Take that $1500 and subtract the cost of the replacment lights and motors that you will enventually need and it might not feel so bad... :P
